What is new in the Norton Identity Safe extension?

•          Norton Identity Safe feature is now available as an independent extension.
•          This extension can be installed on any system with a Microsoft Edge browser. It does not require the installation of a native Norton product, such as Norton Security.
•          This release supports autofill, auto-capture of Login items, searching Logins, viewing your basic Login properties, and toggling the Favorite status of a Login.
•          This release has a toolbar-less user experience; the Norton Identity Safe features appear directly on your webpage or by clicking the extension's button in Microsoft Edge.
•          In this release, Login items can be edited only from the Vault interface of a Norton product, such as Norton Security.
•         This release does not support other Identity Safe Vault item types such as addresses, payments, and notes. We are evaluating how to provide support for these items in the future.

Download & Install Norton Identity Safe Extensions,

1.      Start the Microsoft Edge browser.

2.      On the top-right corner, click the More button, and select Extensions.

3.      In the Extensions window, click Get extensions from the store.

4.      In the Store window, type Norton in the Search box.

5.      In the results, click Norton Identity Safe.

6.      Click Install.

7.      After the extension is installed, click Launch.

8.      In the You have a new extension pop-up window, click Turn it on.

9.      If you have closed the Microsoft Edge browser or dismissed the pop-up window, then restart the Microsoft Edge browser and do the following

10.  On the top-right corner, click the More button, and select Extensions.

11.  In the Extensions window, select Norton Identity Safe.

12.  In the Norton Identity Safe window, under Show button next to the address bar, move the slider to On.

13.  Norton Identity Safe extension must be enabled before you can make the icon visible next to the address bar.
